Photo Session with Ryan Pham (4)

And the finale of my shoots!

Photo Session with Ryan Pham (3)

I really enjoy unfocused bokeh. =)

Photo Session with Ryan Pham (1)

So... today I had a photosession with Mr. Ryan Pham. A LOOOT of fun. We headed out and probably spent an hour walking from and back to the car. First was because he forgot his battery. Second time was because he thought I didn't lock his side of the door. Third time was to put our sunglasses back... and to get something else. It wasn't fun walking back so far. So I asked two high school students who were biking around today if I could take photos of them, and they agreed. Before today, I had really wanted to take pictures of people riding fixies, but never really had the chance too. It was fun. Only problem was right after I asked if I could take pictures of them doing tricks, they started riding farther away from me, probably thinking my lens could cover the distance.. Unfortunately.. it couldn't. haha. That was partially my fault, but basically my first ten to twenty shots were all junk since my subject was super puny. After taking our photos, me and Ryan headed over to La Vic's for some burrito-action. Yummmm. A 50mm has some difficulty taking shots that are around 10mm away from the lens. =/ Didn't get any photos there. After a delicious meal, me and Ryan headed over to Santana Row to walk around and see if we can get any shots there. None. Everyone was moving around, and my lens isn't fast enough to get crisp shots without a tripod. I never knew Santana Row was so boisterous and lively! I've always thought it was only rich people shopping, and... that was it! Music was blasting, people were buzzing, and cigarette smoke could be breathed in at every corner! It was awesome! Only problem was I wasn't 21.. so I couldn't participate in any of these fun-filling events. (Well, clubbing and drinking). Enough of me talking, here are my pictures!

Oh yeah, my 10-22mm was finally sold today. 550 cash. =(

Me, me, and Myself.

Late Night Photoshoot (the hundred's keychain)

Today is Friday. I got my new 50mm f/1.8 lens on Wednesday.

Last night at 3 am, I decided to go take photos of random objects in my room and of myself. It was a self-photoshoot that took about 30 minutes to shoot, and around an hour to edit. It was very fun, and I really enjoyed it. The only downside of this was that I ended up only having around 6 hours of sleep. I usually need at least 8 hours of sleep to function properly, so I am kind of... not really "up" yet.

My First time:

-Ordering food at wingstop and barely touching ANY OF IT.
-Using a prime lens.
-Toying around with RAW.

Honda Accord

I would mod this car to its fullest potential... only if it was manual. I will probably be moving onto a stick-shift car soon, and that is why I am taking pictures of it... for memories. Sigh. Such a fun car to drive.

Attempt at Black and White

These photos were taken at my friend, Tim's house. I tried using a tutorial that I found online for black and white shots. Hopefully they turned out alright!

Dinner at NOLA's Part III

The Final Five!
The Picture of the steak can be seen below

Dinner at NOLA's Part II

And here are the rest! Two more sets of 5!Man did I hate going there. If you ever do go there, don't listen to "yelp" and get the steak. It's so small, and barely made me full. Here are the photos!

Dinner at NOLA's

Editing these photos was an incredible experience. I only had to edit probably 60 photos, but to think of those professional photographers who had to edit hundreds and hundreds of them, editing photos can sometimes be such a hassle. These five (blogger only lets me have 5 photos per post) are only of "Mr. Alan Le". He tends to dig himself into my photos even though he himself was a photographer as well.
